PLAY AREA RULES

We expect the “PLAY AREA RULES,” displayed on large banners in front of all play areas as well as in the changing rooms/cloakroom to be strictly adhered to throughout the entire event. Guests who act inappropriately will be removed from the premises and banned from the event. Additionally, please note that throughout the entire event, our 15-member Kitty Crew will be available in front of all play areas and in the coat check tent as helpful contacts for any concerns you may have, easily recognizable by their “KKC@Bootshaus Crew” badge and neon glow bracelets.

PARKING

The “Parkplatz unter der Zoobrücke” parking lot, located right next to the BOOTSHAUS, offers good parking options, especially in the evening hours. In addition, there are designated on-street parking spaces available on Auenweg—including south of the BOOTSHAUS toward Zoobrücke/Rheinpark—which can be used free of charge starting at 11:00 p.m. You can also use the Claudius Therme parking lot starting at 10:00 p.m. There are 200 parking spaces available there—according to the BOOTSHAUS, these are also suitable for RVs. The flat rate is 10 euros. BOOTSHAUS staff will be on site to manage the parking lot from 10:00 p.m. until the end of the event.

As this summer day delightfully slides into darkness, BOOTSHAUS opens its doors for one of the truely spectacular event nights of the year * the Kitty Summer Night’s Dream. Landolf, Alexa, Basti, and the entire Kitty crew invite you on an intoxicating journey filled with fantasy, sensuality, and dazzling escapades, freely based on the motto “Don’t dress up, rather reinvent yourself!” Expect a night full of daring inspirations, surreal creatures, and extravagantly staged characters. Amid psychedelic fantasy worlds, vibrant colors, and an electrifying atmosphere, BOOTSHAUS transforms into a hedonistic wonderland of a special kind. Access to this special night is based on three simple principles: openness, tolerance, and a desire for creative self-expression. In principle, EVERYTHING unmistakably incorporating the elements “imaginative” and “sensual” is welcome—from glamorous to avant-garde, from playful to eccentric.

The night is defined by the iconic black-light visuals of Berlin artist Vigor Calma, a spectacular Loonyland “Crazy Rabbit Hole” décor, surreal “Ziegfeld Follies” projections, black-light body painting, massage services, play area installations, the Kinky Candy Crew, a fresh fruit service, the highly sought-after VAULT Polaroids, and many other lovingly curated details. For our „KitKatClub on Tour“ events, we have been offering exclusively evening box office in conjunction with cash payment since 2003, closely modelled on our Berlin-based parent club. Admission costs your wits or 35 thalers or both! And tickets paid for at the box office must be presented at the 2nd admission control as a prerequisite for access to the event area. The „Obolus“ charged includes admission to the event. Cloakroom + drinks are charged separately. Cash + card payment is optional for catering consumption.

In the respective event location we offer a changing area + a guarded cloakroom. 3 Euro for jackets/coats and 5 Euro for bags/luggage (= cash payment only) at the BOOTSHAUS in Cologne.

For guests with less luggage/wardrobe we offer a limited number of lockers Medium (40 cm x 29 cm x 22 cm) at 7 Euro and lockers Large (40 cm x 29 cm x 32 cm) at 10 Euro (= also cash payment only). This makes it possible to bypass the regular cloakroom check-in completely.

Photography and mobile phones are strictly prohibited at all „KitKatClub on Tour“ events. Anyone attempting to smuggle such items through the 2nd entry control will be allowed to continue partying 100% safely OUTSIDE!

Our aim is to ensure an unconditionally non-discriminatory, non-judgemental space in which all guests feel welcome and respected. And this is the responsibility of everyone present. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, sexism or racism; take care of each other; anyone who feels threatened, harassed or uncomfortable or needs support in any way can turn to our KitKatClub crew throughout the event in front of each play area + and in the cloakroom tent as helpful contacts for concerns of all kinds * clearly recognisable by the „KitKatClub Crew“ badge + neon light wristbands.

If you notice that another person needs help, please contact the person concerned. Do not leave it up to „the others“ to become active, and only YES means YES! Always act according to the principle of consensus: actions and conversations only take place with mutual consent. One of the KitKatClub’s signature features is its uniquely energetic dancefloor, each represented by at least two Kitty residents and a local DJ*ane Hero/Heroine * including DJ Clark Kent, KitKatClub DJ legend, who has already brought (almost) every veritable fetish dance event in Europe and beyond to a boil.
